RESAAS Services (CSE:RSS), which has built a social and global referral network for real estate agents, has added yet another brokerage to its platform with the addition of HomeLife Capital Realty.

HomeLife is a full-service real estate brokerage based in Ottawa, Ontario. "We are excited to be bringing our whole team onto RESAAS," said Lesley Silva of HomeLife Capital.

"Our agents will benefit from being joined together in an exclusive activity feed that RESAAS offers, which will allow them to keep track of each other's real estate happenings. It's important that we build a strong online presence as a brokerage, and I have no doubt that RESAAS will help us achieve this."

Indeed, RESAAS provides a social media platform for real estate agents to showcase their listings, answer questions from potential homebuyers, communicate ideas on their market to followers online, as well as refer and network with each other. It is designed to sync with other social networks such as Facebook (NASDAQ:FB), Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) and LinkedIn (NYSE:LNKD), allowing listings and photos to be shared, and industry news to be posted, all of which helps generate leads for the agent.

The business has gone international quickly, with the company having built its own proprietary translation website in order to allow the platform to reach a truly global audience. It first translated the platform into Spanish in March, and has since added French, Turkish and most recently, Portuguese. It has plans to release another 20 languages over the next two months.

The international expansion has no doubt been fueled in part by its partnership with some of the largest organizations in the real estate industry, the biggest being RE/MAX with 95,000 agents in over 100 countries, which has accelerated interest from overseas.

Last month, RESAAS said the rapid adoption of its platform by agents and brokers across North America fueled demand from a variety of companies wanting to market their brand, products and services to a large and targeted demographic. This led to the launch of AdSAAS, its proprietary advertising engine, allowing RESAAS to tap into companies that are seeking to advertise their brands on its growing platform.  Sprint Mobile and Point2 Homes are its anchor clients.

RESAAS has added over 75 large brokerages in Canada and the U.S. since opening for business in February 2013, as well as signed on several real estate associations and franchises, including the groundbreaking deal with RE/MAX.

Expansion is certainly on the horizon for the budding Vancouver-based company, whose stock price has almost tripled in the last 12 months on the back of a series of client additions.

"Lesley and Shane Silva, Owners of HomeLife Capital Realty, are performance and results driven leaders who know that customer service, attention to detail and empowering their team with the best technologies are key in creating and maintaining a thriving real estate business," said VP of sales at RESAAS, Padraig Cullen.

"Social networking is one of the best ways to procure business in today's real estate industry, and I know RESAAS will empower her team to continue their successes."

When using RESAAS, each HomeLife Capital agent will receive his or her own profile page, and will be connected together privately to easily share activity within the firm. Reported by Proactive Investors 22 hours ago.
