Authorities are looking into whether four engineers from one of Turkey’s leading military electronics companies who allegedly committed suicide could have been killed via telekinesis. Hüseyin Başbilen was found dead in his car, Halim Ünal was shot in the head and Evrim Yançeken fell from the balcony of his sixth-floor apartment. The fourth engineer, Burhanettin Volkan, also allegedly killed himself. The suicides all occurred within the space of 14 months during 2006 and 2007.

A new report from the Turkish Prime Ministry Inspection Board has decided the four dead men could have been directed toward suicide by way of telekinesis. The report cites work that was conducted by neuro-psychology expert Nevzat Tarhan.

Tarhan’s study asked the prosecution to consider telekinesis as a possible cause of the suicides. Tarhan said that telekinetic waves could have caused severe distress and headaches in the victims, and driven them towards a suicidal state. He also said that an overcharge of electro magnets could have had a similar effect.

Turkish journalist Yiğit Bulut recently claimed that there was a plot to kill Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdoğan through telekinesis. Bulut was then named a chief consultant for Erdoğan, The Daily Mail reported.
